Saredon Steel Buildings Ltd manufactures the KITPAC prefabricated steel building system from our premises in the West Midlands, providing flexible, cost-effective steel buildings for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.
About Saredon Steel Buildings
The folding steel KITPAC building is manufactured at our premises in the heart of the West Midlands. It is fully relocatable and designed to meet the structural requirements of BS5950, with loadings to BS6399 Parts 1 and 2.
In addition to the supply and installation of the building, we can provide architectural services for Planning Permission and Building Regulations Approval, together with civils, groundworks, services, drainage and foundations.
Our modular steel buildings are used for a wide variety of applications, including industrial steel buildings, prefabricated steel workshops, commercial steel buildings, prefabricated steel warehouses, vehicle maintenance buildings, MOT buildings, steel storage buildings, steel aircraft hangars, waste water treatment works buildings, offices, canteens, classrooms and school gymnasiums.
Building Sizes and Specifications
Our range of span sizes are from 5m to 22m, giving scope for many applications, with eaves heights from 3m to 7.5m. Buildings can be extended to almost any length by adding approximately 3m modules as required. Roller shutters doors, steel personnel doors, windows, ventilation louvres, rooflights and rainwater goods can also be incorporated to suit individual requirements.
All steel framework is manufactured from cold rolled galvanized steel sections, computer punched and assembled using galvanized plates, cleats and fixings.
Thermal insulation is achieved by factory fitting an additional steel skin to the interior of the buildings, providing an attractive, hard-wearing internal finish while securely retaining 160mm of insulation material to achieve a U-value of 0.25 m²K.
All KITPAC steel buildings are manufactured in modular form, allowing buildings to be extended, relocated or modified as requirements change.
